Bagyong Emong, June 2013 Update

The rainy season is indeed officially on the country after the fifth storm is bringing heavy rains that heavily affecting students, workers and businesses alike.

Here's the latest weather bulletin from PAGASA.

At 4:00 p.m. today, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA, the center of Tropical Storm "EMONG" was estimated based on satellite images and surface data at 470 kilometers East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (18.1°N, 126.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kilometers per hour. It is forecast to move North at 19 kilometers per hour.

At 4:00 a.m. Today, the center of Tropical Storm "EMONG" was estimated based on all available data at 420 km East of BASCO, BATANES (20.3°N, 126.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move North at 19 kph.

At 4:00 a.m. Today, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA, the center of Tropical Storm "EMONG" was estimated based on satellite images and surface data at 570 kilometers Northeast of Basco, Batanes (25.5°N, 124.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kilometers per hour. It is forecast to move North at 22 kilometers per hour. The Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 450 kilometers West of Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas (14.5°N, 116.5°E).
