Charice Admits She's A Lesbian

This is one of our post that we are not sure if it would surprise our readers or not. This is not a question of if but more of when, and we're pretty sure most of us had seen this coming.

International singer, Charice Pempengco put an end to a long rumors about her sexual preference.

Last Sunday on abs-cbn showbiz talk show "The Buzz", Charice finally broke the silence about speculations that she is a lesbian.

"Opo, tomboy po ako." - said Charice which confirms the news that netizens around the world feasted for months.

Charice had made the revelation to veteran host Boy Abuda and said that she chose to do it here on the Philippines inspite of having a chance to make her admittance on any international shows because said that she ows her Filipino fans more than anyone else.

Meanwhile, her mother, Raquel Pempengco on a separate interview before the The Buzz revelation of Charice had hinted that her daughter will talk about her sexual preference on her interview which will be aired Sunday.

"What my heart and mind is telling me as a mother is to allow her to reveal her real gender preference. Whatever path she wants to take, because that is where she would find happiness," - the older Pempengco said.

"I will respect what she will reveal to the public because it is through that disclosure that she will find happiness and liberation," - Charice's mother added.

Charice on the The Buzz interview told Abunda that she and her mother is still not in perfect-good terms, and that she is giving her mother a time. That is inspite of the fact that she already told her mother that she is a lesbian when she is 18, Charice is now 21.

Boy Abunda, pushing Charice a little further had asked about the same-sex relationship. Abunda ask the girl behind rumors, Alyssa Quijano.

Charice directly answered the question and said "She’s an inspiration. She’s a very special person." - referring to the former "X Factor" finalist.

The tearful Charice had said that she is happy on her admittance knowing that she can had nothing to hide now.

Below are the photos we collected online which shows the pig-tailed Charice up to the transitions which made her become what she is now.

So, after this, will Charice be back to the limelight?

"Magkakaroon po ako ng recording. Magre-record ako ng isang song na mafi-feature isang big project. And TV shows na lalabasan ko pero hindi ko puwede sabihin," - the singer said.

That made us thought that this admittance is also timely scheduled knowing that she really knows that this move is necessary before she make any television appearance again.

Whatever it is, we are happy that Charice had showed her cards.

  1. I hate how she looks. I don't care if she is gay. But, why does she have to dress like a man. Why can't she just look somewhat feminine. I know lesbians, who still dress attractively regardless of their preference. This masculine persona she has transitioned to is so un-appealing.
