Anti Angry Birds Bill Proposed

He will not rest on his popular Anti-Planking bill that he proposed on the house of representative. Quezon City representative, Winston Castelo really wants to make a noise with his another proposed law, the House Bill 5379 or the Anti-Angry Birds Bill.

Don't make a laugh yet, it seems that Congressman Winston Castelo had the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or PETA on his side after the group staged a protest against the popular Rovio game. PETA said that they are against the premise of the game and said: "We are influencing our children into thinking that killing pigs and destroying their homes is ok. It is not!” Another PETA member said that “if we think that demolishing the shanties around the Metro is inhumane and against human rights, what do you think these green pigs feel when a bird destroys their fortresses. Those swines has feelings and rights too!"

Going back to congressman Winston Castelo on his new Anti-Angry Birds bill, Congressman Castelo said that he got the Anti-Angry Birds bill idea when we went shoppping for Cristmas gifts on a mall in Divisoria. One eyewitness said that the congressman got irritated when he saw that all items had an angry birds theme on them.

Quezon City Congressman Castelo confirmed that it was really the mall incident that made him proposed this stupid bill.

Everywhere I looked, Angry Birds this, Angry Birds that! Where is the product diversity? Shouldn’t the DTI be monitoring this?
...This is why this bill is even more important than my own anti-planking bill. I hope that my colleagues here at Batasan will support this bill.

Rep. Castelo is really trying to create laws that would make an eyebrow raise, first his house bill number 5316 or the Anti-Planking bill that took all form of criticisms and foul words, then his newly crafted proposal. It looks like the congressman is riding on today's fad in order to become popular. It seems too that Manny Pacquiao is making a more senseful things on the congress after him tackling the issue on RH bill.
