Larry Martin Won The "The Biggest Loser" Title
The Biggest Loser's First Winner Is Larry Martin
The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition started airing last May 15 of this year which featured Filipino contestants which weighs more than 250 pounds for men and 200 pounds for women that competes to the first season of The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition.
After four months, the contest ended with Larry Martin being hailed as the The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition first grand winner.
Larry Martin entered the contest weighing 255 pounds with one goal in mind - to loose weight in order for him to return to the police force. After four months of extreme physical training and continues emotional motivation - he left the "The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition" camp with an impressive 154 pounds, doing math that would mean that he shed off 101 pounds which could equalled to one matured human being.
Larry Martin did not just got the title but also but also the chance and guts to return to the police force. "I did not only lose my job; I also lost self-respect. I’ve always wanted to gain that back, and 'The Biggest Loser' was able to do that for me," - Larry Martin told reporters on an interview.
After saying those words, he then stood up and demonstrated his newly built body, full of energy and alertness he gained from the four months contest. True indeed, Larry Martin possessed both physical and mental qualties to be declared as the first ever "The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition" grand champion.

Starting Weight: 341 lbs.

3. Raffy – 34.84%
Starting Weight: 287 lbs.
Current Weight: 187 lbs.
Difference: -100 lbs.
4. Angela – 33.63%
Starting Weight: 223 lbs.
Current Weight: 148 lbs.
Difference: -75 lbs.
5. Hazel – 33.01%
Starting Weight: 206 lbs.
Current Weight: 138 lbs.
Difference: -68 lbs.
With this, Larry Martin won a cash prize of one million pesos, a condominium unit, a Vespa scooter, a 40 inches Sony Bravia Internet TV, Whirlpool appliances, P100,000 worth of salon services and a lifetime membership from Fitness First gym.
Larry will also grace the cover of Men’s Health Philippines for its November 2011 issue.
The contest was hosted by Sharon Cuneta and Derek Ramsay, the Biggest Loser (Pinoy Edition) Grand Finale was held at the Ynares Stadium in Pasig City.
