November 7, 2011 Is A Regular Non-Working Holiday
November 7, 2011 Declared As A Holiday
Here's another good news for the students and most especially to the employees who work their butt off everyday.
Malacanang Palace declared November 7, 2011 as a regular non-working holiday in celebration of the Eidul Adha or Feast of Sacrifice, one of the major religious feasts in Islam.
This is a hot news which was just released earlier today via Proclamation number 276 which Philippine President Benigno Noynoy PNoy Aquino III signed yesterday.
The first week of November really has a lot of rest days for all Filipino living in the country. It can be recalled that the president earlier declared the October 31 of this year as a special non-working holiday that created a four days vacation for the students and three days off for the employees.
The Philippine’s National Commission on Muslim Filipinos recommended that the observance of Eidul Adha be on November 7, 2011 and the Eidul Adha prayer on November 6, 2011.
Eidul Adha is the second largest Islamic festival celebrated by Filipino Muslims in the country.
