October 31, 2011 Declared As A Special Non-Working Holiday
Special Non-Working Holiday - October 31, 2011
Long before the official declaration, Many Filipinos are searching the internet to monitor weather the October 31, 2011 is a holiday or not.
They have been using the search term October 31, 2011 holiday to inquire on different search engines about the news. Everyone is really hoping that the 31st of October will be declared as a holiday because it was sandwiched between Sunday and to the regular non-movable All Saints Day.
It is a common practice since the Arroyo regime that holidays were moved to the nearest Monday or to the nearest Friday. However, November 1 - all saints day doesn't seem to be a movable type of holiday so Malacanang decided to make October 31, 2011 as a special non-working holiday in consideration to those going home at the province.
With the Proclamation Number 265 announced yesterday, the entire country will be expecting a long weekend, enough to spend with our family.
Keywordspeak.com team wishes a safe long weekend to all of us, enjoy!
