Ram Revilla's Death

Ram Revilla, brother of Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. was killed by a gunman in a bonnet on his own house in Paranaque City before midnight yesterday - Friday, October 28, 2011.

Ram Revilla was declared dead on arrival at the Paranaque Medical Center past midnight earlier today after being shot and stabbed to death, Ram is 22.

According to Police Officer 2 Francisco Bukid, the first responder on the crime site, the gunman used a .45 caliber gun and a knife to kill the victim and wound his girlfriend.

Janelle Manahan, Ram's Girlfriend was also shot twice, one bullet hit his left side of the face while the other bullet hit her on the shoulder.

"May tama sa panga but I think she's okay," Senator Revilla said. She is now under observation at the Asian Hospital in Muntinlupa City. The executive assistant of Senator Revilla however said that Manahan had already been able to talk.

PO2 Bukid said that it was Janelle Manahan, the girlfriend, who reported the incident through the police hotline 117. According to police authorities, the call was received aroung 11:45PM, Friday, in which a call said that two men in a bonnet entered their house and killed Revilla.

Manahan was still conscious when the police authorities arrived on the crime scene. Another sibling, Ramona Revilla, was also in the house when the shooting incident happened. The two suspects took Ramona with them but later dropped her off in front of a mall after an hour.

It was unclear on why did they took Ramona Revilla and just dropped her unharmed but it is assumed that they will use her in case that someone will follow them as they flee.

Aside from Ramona, four other people — three household help and Ram’s production assistant were also in the house at the time of the incident. They have been questioned by the authorities.

What's The Motive ?

The report isn't yet complete but one angle is under investigation since the questioned persons said that they do not know any enemies of Ram, Senator Bong said on an interview however revealed that Ram Revilla had been planning to run as a Councilor on Imus, Cavite.

Was really Ram considered as a threat to the local politics of Imus that it may have alarmed all the politicians, including the higher offices?

On the other note, Senator Bong said to the media that they still do not know how to tell it to their father, Ramon Revilla Sr. who is currently sick.






"Sobra ang galit para gawin ito," Bong said on a media interview. The Revilla family wants to seek justice for the heinous crime. Bong Revilla had dispelled the robbery angle as nothing was taken from the house.
