Philippine Smart Gilas will be playing on the Semi Finals at 2011 FIBA Asia after beating Chinese Taipei.
At first, Chinese Taipe took the pace at they lead on early with their offensive rebounds. However, Smart Gilas managed to take on a three point lead at the half.
Philippines' Smart Gilas took a lead as high as 19 points from the fourth quarter.
Chinese Taipe then moved to score an eleven straight points that made the game almost at par and cut Philippines' Smart Gilas lead to seven points from eighteen.
The game ended with the score of 95 – 78 in favor Philippines' Smart Gilas. Smart Gilas ranked higher for the FIBA Asia 2011 and made them to enter the semi finals against Jordan team.
