Westlife Expressed Interest To Have Manny Pacquiao On Concert
A confirmed report from ABS-CBN News said that Shane Filan - a member of the Irish boy band, Westlife had showed interest to the Filipino boxer, Manny Pacquiao to their upcoming concert here in the Philippines on September 29, 2011.
“If he'd (Pacquiao) like to join us on stage, we'd be truly honored. He's a big star.” Filan said on an interview.
Shane Filan said he and his fellow Westlife members namely, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne are really thrilled about their upcoming concert here in the Philippines.
The boy band's concert dubbed as "Westlife Gravity Tour 2011 Live in Manila" will take place at the Araneta Coliseum on Septermber 29, 2011.
Though we have not heard anything from Manny Pacquiao's camp to comment about the invitation.
Will the billionaire athlete will entertain the informal invitation? We actually have no idea.
If the Westlife band manager will make an effort to formally invite boxer Manny Pacquiao for the concert, maybe there could be a possibility for this, but a side comment as an invitation isn't likely to be entertained by the politician-boxer.
However, if they really make a formal / personal invitation, more questions must be settled first like talent fee and the likes, oh yeah, if Manny can sing their song too - I guess =)
