Michael Jackson's Doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray Was Found Guilty
Dr. Conrad Murray, personal physician - doctor of King of Pop, Michael Jackson was found "Guilty beyond reasonable doubt" for the involuntary manslaughter over the death on a drug overdose to his client.
It can be recalled that Doctor Conrad Murray's patient, Michael Jackson, had died last June 25, 2009 from acute Propofol intoxication after receiving a lethal dose of the powerful anesthetic. According to facts, Dr. Murray prescribed the said drug to MJ to help him with his acute insomia problem.
The king of pop had suffered cardiac arrest at his house at Los Angeles, where Murray said that he found MJ in his room and that Jackson was not breathing. According to the testimony of Murray, he gave Jackson a CPR on his bed with no success. The paramedics who arrived from a 911 call tried to revive Michael Jackson and took him immediately at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The doctor however defensed that he gave Michael Jackson a safe dose and that it was MJ who made himself overdose to the said drug. The jury did not credit Dr. Murray's defense and said that the doctor failed to gave his patient some safeguard procedures that should have prevented his patient from being overdosed.
On the court - After 22 days of testimony from nearly fifty witnesses and deliberating for two days, the twelve jury had ruled their unanimous decision to put Dr. Conrad Murray on jail.
Witnesses on the court who saw the trial said that Dr. Conrad Murray showed no emotion as the verdict was read out.
