PMPC Star Awards 2011

The 25'th Philipine Movie Press Club or PMPC Star Awards 2011 for Television was successfully held last Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World, Pasay City, Manila. The award night was hosted by beauty queen Shamcey Supsup and hunk actor Piolo Pascual.

ABS-CBN television network emerged as this year's big winner for baggin a total of 26 awards which includes "2011 Best TV Station" for the third consecutive time. Other networks received their respective awards as shown below.

GMA-7 = 15 awards
TV5 = 6 awards
Studio 23 = 3 awards
UNTV 37 = two awards
NET 25 = 1 award

This year, the Philipine Movie Press Club also gave special recognition to the following personalities - Nora Aunor, German “Kuya Germs” Moreno, Jessica Soho and Susan Roces.

The event will be telecast on ABS-CBN on November 27, 2011, Sunday night.
