Bagyong Lando - Typhoon Lando Update

Bagyong Lando Update - Typhoon Lando Update

Update for Bagyong Lando

The current typhoon, typhoon Kabayan, is still inside the Philippine Are of Responsibility (PAR), however, another active Low Pressure Area (LPA) has been discovered right above the Philippine soil.

This only proves that it is really the rainy season here on the Philippines. After Juaning left our country, typhoon Kabayan immidoately entered the scene, and just when Kabayan is about to exit the PAR, another LPA is then formed which later could become another tropical storm.

If so, it will be named as bagyong Kabayan or typhoon Kabayan as scheduled on Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) calendar of typhoons.

As of now, the first weather bulettin of PAGASA was released for the bagyong Lando:

Tropical Depression "LANDO" was estimated at 280 kilometers West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur (17.2°N 117.7°E)with maximum winds of 45 kilometers per hour near the center. It is forecast to move North Northwest slowly.
