Honorable Marco Antonio Sto Tomas said last May 2011 that more than eighty thousand examinees all over the country took the licensure examination for nurses or the NLE board examination held last July 2011. The data was based on the NL profile, released by the Professional Regulation Commission - Board of Nursing (PRC-BoN).

The data shows that Manila area composed of around 40% of the total examination takers for the NLE July 2011 licensure examination with more than 32,000 examinees.

Based on the history of the Nurses Board Examinations or the Nurses Licensure Examinations - NLE, the result is usually released after forthy five days after the last day of the examination. However, with the improve procedures and other modernization efforts of the PRC-BoN body, it is expected that the result will be released much sooner than expected.
