Update for Bagyong Mina, August 2011
The previous tropical storm Lando did surfaced right above the Philippine islands. However, after one day it immidiately weakens and reduced itself into an active Low Pressure Area - LPA. Lando didn't intensify and created any public storm signals that could directly affect the entire country.
With the rainy season still on, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Administration or PAGASA warned Filipinos on at least two more tropical storms that would hit the Philippines until the current month, August, will be over.
If so, it will be named as bagyong Mina or typhoon Mina as scheduled on Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) calendar of typhoons.

As of today, August 30, 2011 - 5:00AM, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration office, there are no tropical cyclone that exists under Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Bagyong Mina had officially exited from our country. However, southwest monsoon affecting the western sections of Central and Northern Luzon.
