Update for Bagyong Nonoy, September 2011

The previous bagyo or typhoon, bagyong Mina had created significant damages on the entire country, Philippines, as it reached public storm warning signal number four which has a sustained wind speed of greater than 185 kilometers per hour.

As we can see on the screenshot below as officially released by the PAGASA, the next bagyo is threatening to occur anywhere at the Philippine sea anytime soon.

Anyway, the next tropical storm that will occur on our country will be named as bagyong Nonoy or typhoon Nonoy that will come this September 2011, as scheduled on Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) calendar of typhoons.

At 2:00 p.m. today, September 3, 2011, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration office, a Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on radar scans, satellite images and surface data at 520 km East of Visayas(11.0°N; 131.0°E)
