Mobile scanner - Binbit - Unsubscribe
People from many countries has been victimized by the binbit scam.This fake service will first lure you to to convert your ordinary mobile phone into an xray scanner.
It will then ask for your mobile number. User will unsuspectingly enter their mobile phone number out of curiosity, saying that they just want to try it since entering your mobile phone number is free.
User will enter their mobile number just to see what will happen.
It's free anyway.
Well, that's what we thought at first. Until our load is deducted with 10 pesos per day, yes, ten pesos, WTF right ?
This scam has been become popular on many countries, and our country Philippines is one of the place where this crime is happening.

How do I unsubscribe?
Even if incoming messages (texts) are erased from your mobile phone, the service will continue to be active and therefore the messages will be charged to you; should you want to unsubscribe this service, you must send an SMS with the STOP keyword to the same number you joined the service.
Do not hesitate to contact us during your subscription’s validity. We will gladly assist you.
So how to really remove your subscription from binbit ?
Here are some of the method you can try.
Note: Please make sure that you have balance before trying to unsubscribe.
- Just type UNSUBSCRIBE
BINBIT - or STOP
BINBIT - or CANCEL
BINBIT - or QUIT
BINBIT - or OFF
BINBIT - or STOP BIN then send to 2474.
This method is for the Philippines only. If you didn't succeed the first time, just repeat until you receive a confirmation which usually takes up to 24 hours.

ReplyDeleteYou need to send "BIN OFF" to 2474
Then, a few seconds later, a message will tell you that you are already un subscribed from it. But don't do it when you have just subscribed and have a lot of load. Because they will just eat your load. Do it when u have very little low load. The message will be free of charge.
BIN OFF is not working..i cant send message to 2474.. :(

ReplyDeleteKaka unsubscribe ko lang today, STOP BIN to 2474 is working, (Globe Subscriber Only) pag naka-subscribe ka sa Binbit wag ka magload, antayin mo lang yun text message nila na "you have insufficient balance (blah blah something)" pag natanggap mo ang message na yun, then saka ka magload P30 lang hayaan mong kunin nila yung P10 mo, then makakareceive ka ng message na nagsasabing "U got 1 credit (blah blah something)" then dun mo banatan, reply ka agad STOP BIN after mag-send makaka-receive ka ng text that you are already unsubscribe Binbit. I hope na magwork din sa inyo ^^,

Pobre lang di kayang isakripisyo ang P10 hanggang P5 lang pudpod na daliri mo sa kakasend wala pa ring nangyayari message failed!

ReplyDeleteI tried their online IQ test nga din,and it did ask for my no to register, the hell, I knew it was gonna ba a scam or something like that, thank god I'm always subscribing to globe txt and call promos so before nila madeduct ang load ko, nakaregister na ako, pero I think there's no way that I could stop this without them getting a bit of my load, so I gotta get a new sim nlang hay.

I tried checking the relationship compatibility and step 1 theyve asked you for you phone number and carrier and then you will receive a 5 digit code. you will be asked to enter the 5 digit code in step 2 and you will receive a confirmation thru text that youve already subcribed in BINBIT. WHAT?!!!? And when i checked my load im missing 10php already so this really sucks.

SO i started to worry..
Step 1. I tried to send all of the keywords that were provided by the author of this very helpful blog. it cost you 2.50php per wrong keyword but its worthit rather a month load. i received a confirmation text right away "Sorry wrong kword. Cool apps & games, awesome wallpapers & screensavers, great themes & tones, txt BINBIT to 2474 or visit http://binbit.amob.com P2.50/text.
Step 2: I tried to send Stop All to 2474
Step 3: I received a text saying that I'm Subscribe to any content "You dont have any active subscription. This text is free of charge.
But i doubt so I've waited and then I received this text message.
Step 4: 2/2 Txt BIN REG to 2474. Reg is FREE. Promo: Mar 8-Apr30, 2011 DTINCR #2213S2011. To unsubcribe txt STOP to 2474. Tel: 570
Step 5: I sent STOP ALL to 2474 again
and i received a confirmation saying that "Ur now unsubcribed from the following services: BINBIT. U will no longer receve contents frm d services. The message is free of charge."
so again
1. wait for the confirmation of you subscription thats page 1/1
2. wait for the message to register page 2/2
3. then text STOP ALL to 2474
4. hopefully you will receive the same confirmation of the removal of the content as I have. GOODLUCk hope this helps.
I'm a SMART subscriber and i sent BIN OFF to 2474..it worked and 2474 replied "you are no longer subscribed to club binbit"...hopefully i'm really unsubscribed already...i've lost a lot of loads with this binbit...Thanks everyone! I hope this will also work to other subscribers...

All though they did not deduct any of my load, it was still not enough to compensate all the load they have taken from me while i was still in subscription period. AND PLEASE, WILL SOMEONE COMPLAIN TO THE NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS FOR LEGAL ACTIONS REGARDING THIS MATTER.
ReplyDeleteEto ginawa ko: 10.50 yung load ko at nagsend ako ng "BIN OFF" sa 2474, ayun nakareceive ako msg na unsubscribed na. Gusto ko siguraduhin kaya nagtext ako ulit yung keyword naman na "STOP BIN", ayun sabi hindi na daw nakasubscribe. Sana pag magload ako bukas wala nang makain!

ReplyDeleteung ktrabaho ko sabi nia check ko daw phone ko kung may nagsend ng confirmation,then I recieved a text from 2474 na "you have insufficient balance" then nagtataka ako everyday kxe nagttxt ung number na un and without my knowledge ung ka officemate ko pala ang salarin and I'm totally pissed off kinakain kxe load ko eh then just now nagsearch ako on how to get rid of this annoying binbit thing..and finally it worked!halos lahat yata ng keyword na try ko at nagsend lahat ewan ko which one of those ang gumana but it did worked!salamat sa info!!!!!

ReplyDeleteBinbit is Acme Mobile before in Philippines. Better you call your operator and complain so they can return your load. They can return your load. You just need to make a formal complaint. Lalo kapag nag OFF ka na. I complain na sa NTC yan.

ReplyDeleteHi Guys, i was also a victim of binbit and GLOBE since april 16,2011 until today, when i realized that binbit and GLOBE was stealing my load.
so i unsubscribed using using "BIN OFF" to 2474 and it worked. but since my load was stolen by binbit and GLOBE, i load my self only two (2) pesos using share-a-load from my father's phone. because if i load 10 pesos or more, binbit and GLOBE might steal again the load.
after being unsubscribed, i called GLOBE hotline 211, complained through their customer service. the agent confirmed to me that they are in collaboration with binbit. he also confirmed that they really do not immediately inform the customer of the subscription. the agent said that the subscription is implied in the game. so no one will know that he is already subscribed, only the day after the subscription, when binbit and GLOBE already stole your 10 pesos.
since, i complained to them, they promised me that they will return my stolen load within 24 hours.
i got the name of the agent and reference number so i may follow up for the load.
for other victims, please complain to the hotline and recover your load from the scammers.
Event though there are complains, GLOBE still have no action to correct it. FB (containing the link) also have no action to correct it. I hope the government would do some.
if not, many scammers will follow, telecoms will get indecent profit out of it.
nice one there, i dont have call call the globe cust svc. since binbit stole me 30 load onlyXD, from the time i subcribed i keeps asking me that i do not have sufficient load, then i realized there is something wrong with subscription to binbit, so a decided to load not much. thnx to destiny, his "BIN OFF" works^^

sa mga hindi ma unsubscribe nito.. tawag kayo sa hotline sa cp ng carrier nyo. ako kasi lahat sinubukan ko globe subs ako. pero lagi reply hindi naman daw ako naka subscribe pero every morning nakukuhaan ako ng 10pesos. tinawag ko sa globe ginawan ng report the next day wala na nagpapadala sa akin. sana makatulong sa inyo.

They're right.... u must have 6-8 pesos load only.... before u text it... cause earlier... i just have 1 peso load and im trying to text the keyword but it only says "Try again" so i asked my brother to give me 6 pesos load. all in all, i already have 7 pesos load.... then i text STOP BIN again and send to 2474 and it says Sent... then after a few seconds, i've received a message saying im already unsubscribed blah blah.... Hope that's true and not a hoax again!!!

U will no longer receive contents frm d services. The message is free of charge." then i checked my balance again and i still have my php7. yipeeee!! :))
