Mails Has Been Deleted On Multiple Gmail Accounts

Mails were deleted on gmail - are you one of them ?

A stir on the web which says that multiple gmail users had their years worth of emails an being deleted.

So if you're been using gmail, this is the time you check your account.

The reports said that 150,000 accounts were affected. WHen opening their email accounts, the affected users sees their account as if they just created it first time having three emails all from the Gmail Team that greeted them for creating an account.

This erases all emails, chat records, etc.

The error had officially admitted by the google people and that they are currently working to fix the .08% gmail users that were affected by a migration bug they had implemented that caused the resets.

Gmail team on report said that they can return the lost emails from their backup system which were mounted offline that's why it wasn't affected by the bug.

This is really a big embarrasment for google as a company. Another irreversible damage that will not be forgotten and will be continously quoted on the web news forever.

Sure, we can all do mistakes, but not as big as this where millions of people's accounts and billion of money are stakes.

We just hope that this problem maybe resolve completely as soon as possible.
