Cory Aquino's 82nd Birthday - January 25, 2015

The 82nd birthday of the former Philippine President Cory Aquino is being commemorated today, January 25, 2015 - Sunday.

The eleventh president of the Philippines's graveyard in Manila Memorial Park was seen decorated with yellow flowers, given by her families, closed friends and fans who came all the way from far provinces, the report said.

Maria Corazon "Cory" Sumulong Cojuangco Aquino was born on January 25, 1933 and became the Philippines' and Asia's first female president. She ended the 20-years Marcos regime and restored democracy in her country.
