Kamikazee Announces Disband

Filipino rock band Kamikazee had announced their break up next year on their official facebook page via a video post earlier today, February 25, 2015. The group said that this year will be the last time that they will be seen to perform together as a band.

Kamikazee is best known for their hit songs Narda, Chicksilog and Wala.

Contrary to the usual reason of being disbanded like what happened to Eraserheads, the band said that the decision was agreed upon by all members and not because of internal rift.

"Bale ngayon, nagdesisyon po kaming lima na ngayong 2015, ito na muna po ang huling taon na magkakasama tayo, dahil gusto naming subukan 'yung buhay buhay sa labas ng banda," - frontman Jay Contreras said.

Kamikazee was formed in year 2000 after they met as a college student in UP Diliman.

On the short video clip, the band members thank their fans and asked to continue patronizing Filipino songs.
