Ultra Lotto 6/58 - PCSO Newest

Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) introduced today its newest game - the Ultra Lotto 6/58 which will be roll-out on February 2015.

According to the PCSO officials, the board approved last January 13, 2015 the newest lotto game for the country. PCSO said that lotto bettors can now win a minimum of fifty million pesos, P50M, twice a week.

What's new on this game is that it will be drawn for only twice a week, contrary to the other existing lotto games which were all drawn three times a week. Filipino players will also have to choose the right six digits combination by choosing numbers one to fifty eight.

The said game aimed to "provide players more chances [of becoming] a millionaire," as well as to allow the agency “to raise more funds for charity” as said by the PCSO acting chair and general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.

PCSO aims to gather more funds in assisting the Filipino. PCSO assistant general manager for charity Larry Cedro said that last year their agency assisted more than 50,000 dialysis patients and helped augment the cost of hospitalization of over 80,000 patients.

Currently, PCSO has four major games, namely: Grand Lotto 6/55 with a minimum jackpot prize at P30 million, followed by Super Lotto 6/49 (P16 million), Mega Lotto 6/45 (P9 million) and 6/42 (P6 million).

Ultra Lotto 6/58 will be available on public on February 7, 2015 where February 8 will be the first draw date and will be drawn every Friday and Saturday,
