Bagyong Ramon Could Appear This Week

Typhoon Ramon Update, OCtober 2011


This could be typhoon Ramon in the making - A low pressure area was spotted east of Visayas region according to PAGASA earlier today, October 2, 2011.

While Bagyong Qiuel is set on its course to leave the country, the weather bureau is monitoring another low pressure area that could intensify to a tropical storm. If so, it will be named as Bagyong Ramon or Typhoon Ramon as scheduled on the lists of Philippine Typhoon for this year, 2011.

This weather disturbance, possibly tropical depression Ramon, would affect provinces eastern Visayas. The low pressure area would give cloudy skies, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

Northern and central Luzon will continue to have rain showers and moderate to strong winds as Typhoon Quiel set its path to leave PH.
