TESDA Idol 2011 Winner Is Daisy Alegarbes
Daisy Alegarbes Won the TESDA Idol 2011 Title
After being nominated among other twenty other candidates for the TESDA Idol 2011, Daisy Alegarbes, twenty eight years old, a lady from Davao City won the title of this years TESDA Idol - the TESDA Idol 2011.
Daisy Alegarbes, a lady welder outshined all nominees for this year's TESDA Idol title.
In the summer of 2000, Daisy Alegarbes trained in welding and steel fabrication at te provincial training center in Davao City. After that, she continue to master her welding and fabrication skills through various jobs.
After that, Daisy Alegarbes attended a training program and then passed the qualifying assesment to become a ETSDA-accredited assesor and trainor in welding course. Aside from that, other laurels of Alegarbes includes a medal she won at the provincial and regional skills competitions on welding-youth catefoty in the year 2000 and 2001. This feat made her being known in Davao City to be the first female welding trainor.

Today, despite of her very busy schedule, Daisy Alegarbes finds time to be an instructor to teach welding to engineering students of the University of South Eastern Philippines and architectural teories and designs at the Ateneo de Davao University.
Idols ng TESDA Award is the highest accolade given to Technical Vocation Courses and Training graduates who have attained skills excellence and success in their chosen occupations and have contributed to the economic growth of their communities.
